Remote starting by CAN on Lancer X

Remote starting is rather convenient option, which let you to heat a car and car interior in advance before you go. 

 

It is also possible to install the standard remote starting on Mitsubishi Lancer X, but that is relatively rare accessory with bulky key chain and costs at least 2 times more expensive than a modern alarm system. 

 

 

But the main feature of standard remote starting is that the remote starting is implemented not by a power part using the special unit, as for many old alarm systems, but rather by CAN bar. This allows you to save money when buying the alarm system, as there is not necessary to have a separate remote starting unit, and installation of alarms takes much less time.

 

Installing a modern alarm system with CAN support, we activate the remote starting by CAN in ETACS unit.

 

For activating you need:

2. MMCodingWriter, the program for downloading and coding recording.

3. MUT Coding Mitsubishi, the program for coding editing.

4. Laptop.

 

Since 2021, the MUT Coding Mitsubishi program has become paid, or you can buy it from the developer, or use the built-in editor in the MMCoding Writer program.

Now, if your alarm system supports GSM connection, you can start a car, using the mobile app/call/SMS, as well as triple press of close button on the standard key.
