Comfort wind screen washer - function on Lancer X

If you press the understeering switch of windscreen wipers on you Lancer X, the windscreen wipers will operate until you release the understeering switch.

 

But many Mitsubishi Lancer X owners do not know, that one can activate Comfort washer function (Comfort wind screen washer) in ETACS unit, that by short pressing of windscreen wipers understeering switch activates 5 strokes of windscreen wipers and 5 operations of wind screen washer. And after a while there will be the sixth stroke of wind screen wipers, in order to wiping the drops.

 

 

Given function is activated on Lancer X only in ETACS unit.

 

For activating you need:

1. J2534 compatible adapter. Bought here: Аliexpress

2. MMCodingWriter, the program for downloading and coding recording.

3. MUT Coding Mitsubishi, the program for coding editing.

4. Laptop.

 

Since 2021, the MUT Coding Mitsubishi program has become paid, or you can buy it from the developer, or use the built-in editor in the MMCoding Writer program.
