Setting mode of Lock Unlock buttons on the key - function on Lancer X

Multi Mode function on Mitsubishi Lancer X is relevant for cars, which are equipped with standard window regulators with function of automatically closing and lowering the windows.

 

On before restyling Mitsubishi Lancer X (since 2011 year made), the window regulators with function of automatically closing and lowering are present only on the driver's side. For that function, it is necessary to equip all doors on the car with units with auto mode for window regulators and according to this built up the missing wiring.

 

 

Given function is activated on Lancer X only in ETACS unit.

 

For activating you need:

1. J2534 compatible adapter. Bought here: Аliexpress

2. MMCodingWriter, the program for downloading and coding recording.

3. MUT Coding Mitsubishi, the program for coding editing.

4. Laptop.

 

Since 2021, the MUT Coding Mitsubishi program has become paid, or you can buy it from the developer, or use the built-in editor in the MMCoding Writer program.

You can choose 1 of the operation modes.

  Without function.

  It implements the mirrors folding and unfolding.

  It implements only glasses closing.

  It implements only glasses (and hatch) closing and mirrors folding and unfolding.

  It implements glasses closing and opening.

  It implements glasses (and hatch) closing and opening, mirrors folding and unfolding

 

When activating given function, it is possible to control glasses and hatch opening/closing, as well as side view mirrors folding/unfolding using the buttons on the remote control key.

 

Mirrors folding and unfolding will operate, if you have function and point OPN/CLS Keyless activated. More details in the article Powerfold mirrors on Lancer X.

 

- single pressing of Lock button - mirrors folds.

- double pressing and holding of Lock button - closing of all doors and a hatch.

 

- single pressing of Unlock button - mirrors folds.

- double pressing and holding of Unlock button - opening of side view mirrors.
