New LED rear lights on Lancer X

Begin with, I have not even planned to change my standard rear lights with black substrate, as in my opinion, the standard lights with black substrate are ideal for Lancer X.

 

But when I saw the first photos of given lights on the car, I immediately ordered them, I liked it very much, how they are looked on Lancer 10, even in the picture.

 

And when I got these lights, my expectations were met for all 100%, these lights are fully LED, and looked stylish and modern.

 

 

There were 2 variants: with black toning and red, I bought with red. As for their size, there are similar with standard. 

 

I specifically focus on this, since, for example, the alternative Audi-style rear optics protruded by an order and were bigger than standard lights, there is no such drawback here.

 

The lights are installed without any upgrade. 

 

The one thing, if it is necessary to lay 2 wires from the set through the standard corrugation. These wires connect the external lights and lights on the trunk between each other. And with another wire connect the lights between each other, installed on the trunk lid.

 

With the first switching-on, the marker lights switch-on with animation. And despite that it is the bright sun now, the marker lights are well visible.

 

Stop lights are also well visible.

 

Turn signal is well visible, also blinks with animation "running fire".

 

Back run is located on left and on the right lights.

 

Many people asked whether there are rear fog lights? Yes, there are. They are located in the back run sections.

 

The lights shine more effective at night, the car looks very modern.

 

Also there is breaker of marker lights animation at the first switching-on and turn signal "running fire" animation on the new LED lights. It is for those, who does not like all these modern effects.

 

As for minuses, as with any alternative optics in which LEDs are installed in the stops, the ETACS unit thinks that the stop lamps have burned out, because of this the cruise control does not operate. And a plus, if you have installed electronic stability control system, it also will indicate at supposedly missing stop lamps.

 

The problem is solved by installation of load resistor. But it is wonder, why the producer did not install the given resistor initially, as for turn signals it is installed. But these are recoverable little things.

 

The only thing, as given lights are new, I don't know the characteristics of LEDs to choose the load resistor by power. To tell the truth, I have already calculated which resistor is approximately necessary, but just in case, I want to get the information from Chinese, which LEDs are installed on the lights. In the near future, after testing the resistors, I will write and show which resistors are needed and how to connect them correctly.

And if you do not use the cruise-control, then you can not upgrade the lights, everything operates and shines well.

And in the whole, the lights are awesome and stylish, it is something new and fully met my expectations, the car looks very modern, although unusual.
