Reverse sound indication - function on Lancer X

Reverse Alarm function (reverse sound indication) on Mitsubishi Lancer X informs a driver inside the car about switched-on reverse gear by sound notification and sign on the dash panel.

 

This function operates only on automatic transmission and variator, it does not operate on manual transmission.

 

Given function is activated on Lancer X only in ETACS unit.

 

 

For activating you need:

1. J2534 compatible adapter. Bought here: Аliexpress

2. MMCodingWriter, the program for downloading and coding recording.

3. MUT Coding Mitsubishi, the program for coding editing.

4. Laptop.

 

Since 2021, the MUT Coding Mitsubishi program has become paid, or you can buy it from the developer, or use the built-in editor in the MMCoding Writer program.
